Festive Workshop - Hand-building Mugs

Using the ancient pottery technique of pinch pots, create your own set of festive cups or mugs. Local or visiting Keswick? Come along for a festive evening with friends and family, and create a personalised set of festive mugs. Make handmade gifts or something beautiful for your own home. Our friendly studio has a workbench area with seating to enjoy a cuppa or a glass of something while you create! Our experienced pottery tutor will guide you every step of the way with demonstrations. When? Saturdays in Oct/Nov 1.5 hours 6.00-7.30pm or 8.00-9.30pm Where? Suitable for all ages Beginners welcome £40 per adult £30 per child (under 16) (Under 18s must be accompanied by a booked adult) 6 places What's included? o All clay and equipment o Aprons o Experienced pottery tutor o Festive snacks and refreshments o Keep 2 of your favourite mugs o We will Glaze and fire them for you to collect or be posted in approximately 4 weeks. o Add Postage on booking or Collect from Keswick Clay Studio. What To Wear Pottery can be messy so please wear clothes you don't mind getting a little clay on. Book Your Place Places are limited to 6 participants per session to ensure plenty of individual guidance. Booking online or in the studio in advance guarantees you a space. Booking and Cancellation Terms All sessions must be paid for in full at the time of booking. A booking is only confirmed once payment has been received. Cancellation by Customers As places are limited and materials are prepared in advance, bookings are non-refundable. Places cannot be moved, transferred or rescheduled to another date if you are unable to attend. If you do not attend your booked session, no refund or credit will be provided. Cancellation by Keswick Clay Studio In the unlikely event that Keswick Clay Studio needs to cancel a session. Customers will be offered either o a full refund; or o a transfer to an alternative session date (subject to availability) Arrival Please arrive 5 minutes before the session starts. Late arrivals may miss important safety information. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone arriving more than 15 minutes late, and no refund will be given. Finished Pottery Four selected pieces per participant is included in the session price and will be glazed and fired by the studio. Finished work is usually ready for collection approximately 4 weeks after the session. Times may vary depending on firing schedules. Postage While every care is taken, pottery is fragile and we cannot accept responsibility for items damaged in transit. Breakages Pottery is made from natural materials and is subject to the risks of drying and firing. Occasionally pieces may crack, warp or break during the making or firing process. While rare, Keswick Clay Studio cannot guarantee the successful firing of any item and no refunds will be provided for work lost due to these circumstances. Health and Safety Participants must follow all instructions given by studio staff. Keswick Clay Studio reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone whose behaviour may compromise the safety or enjoyment of others.
